Songwriter’s Picnic Ready to take your lyrics to the next level? Come hang out at our place these holidays and join singer-songwriters George Alice & Emerauld for a laid-back day of songwriting, and song-sharing on our beautiful lawns. Whether you’ve got a notebook full of lyrics or you’re just starting to write your first song, this is your chance to vibe learn from the best in the business,  swap ideas, and share your music in a super chill, no-pressure environment. We’ll be jamming, writing new songs together, and recording some fresh tracks right here in the garden—how cool is that? Plus, we’re bringing all the picnic essentials, so you can kick back, snack, and soak up the creative energy. What to Bring: We’ll have a few guitars on hand, but your guitar is your sidekick, don’t leave it behind! So grab your guitar, pack your best ideas, and come hang out with us! BAND! ZINE!! SHOOT!!!  Want to break into the music scene? Come hang out at our place these holidays for a day of jamming, zine-making, and photography workshops. It’s your chance to hang out with local young creatives, dive into hands-on sessions, and pick up skills to level up your music game – think of it as your ultimate jam session (without noise complaints from your neighbours!) Whether you’re itching to jam in a band, create a killer zine, or snap epic band photos, dive into the workshop that excites you most: (Please note: You will only attend one of the workshops and as a result should only book one ticket) Band Practice: Team up with My Cherie and Aston from TOWNS for some laid-back band jamming. You’ll get real-world tips, tricks, and plenty of insider knowledge. Plus, there will be an opportunity to hit the stage and practice your moves with an audience. Bring your own instrument, or use ours—we’ve got you covered. Photography Masterclass: Learn from the best in the business in this hands-on photography workshop. From social media shots to killer promo material, local legend Evie Wonder will help you create standout visuals that truly reflect who you are as an artist. No camera experience? No problem! Evie will run through all the basics. We’ll have the equipment on hand, but if your camera is your sidekick, don’t leave it behind! Zine-making workshop: Dive into the art of zine-making with Lilith from Runt Records. Learn how to design and make your own zines to showcase your unique style. Whether it’s album art, behind-the-scenes stories, or just showing off your vibe, a zine is the perfect way to connect with fans and stand out. Supplies? Sorted. From stage to screen & in between. Come along & be amazed by 14-year-old boy soprano Ethan Hall who recently featured on the tv show The Voice 2022 making the top 48. This will be a beautiful afternoon of music carefully selected to describe Ethan’s journey & leave you feeling happy, smiling & mesmerized. Ethan is delighted to sing his favourite songs to you and to show people that if they work hard at their goals they can reach anything they dream about. Being featured on The Voice this year has shown Ethan that dreams are possible. He promises there will be something for everyone. Ethan was commonly known as “The Hiccups Kid” when in 2015 at the age of 7 years old, he sang the Australian National Anthem at an Adelaide Bite Baseball game with the hiccups. He was delighted this year to have been featured on The Voice where he has hopefully now added to his recognition “Ethan from the Voice” and be known for his outstanding vocal skills at such a young age. Ethan enjoys singing many genres of music although he was featured on The Voice with the beautiful classical hymn “Pie Jesu”, his concert will include music from movies, musicals, Disney and other songs that help describe his story. Be amazed at his voice and come along and see for yourself. You are more than welcome to chat with Ethan at the end and even snap a photo with the budding star.
