A session for parents, children and the whole family. Join us for this session at St Raphael’s School, where we will delve into the exciting transition from Kindergarten to Primary School. This event is designed to provide families with a comprehensive understanding of what to expect when your little one makes the big leap to school. Whether you are considering St Raphael’s School or not, this session is open to everyone eager to learn more about this significant milestone in a child’s life. A chance to answer your little ones question: “What happens when I go to big school?” One of the key topics we will also explore is the importance of literacy in a child’s development. Premier Peter Malinauskas emphasises the significance of reading with the Words Grow Minds campaign, stating, “Reading is one of the most important things you can do with a young person.” At St Raphael’s School, we share this belief and are committed to delivering a tailored literacy program that supports your child’s growth from infancy to readiness for secondary school. Learn more about our specific learning/literacy-focus. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, May 15th, from 6 to 7 pm at St Raphael’s School on 114 Glen Osmond Rd, Parkside, please enter from Macklin St. Come and gain valuable insights into your child’s educational journey, regardless of whether you are part of the St Raphael’s School community or not. This Is Me – Ethan Hall

From stage to screen & in between. Come along & be amazed by 14-year-old boy soprano Ethan Hall who recently featured on the tv show The Voice 2022 making the top 48. This will be a beautiful afternoon of music carefully selected to describe Ethan’s journey & leave you feeling happy, smiling & mesmerized. Ethan is delighted to sing his favourite songs to you and to show people that if they work hard at their goals they can reach anything they dream about. Being featured on The Voice this year has shown Ethan that dreams are possible. He promises there will be something for everyone. Ethan was commonly known as “The Hiccups Kid” when in 2015 at the age of 7 years old, he sang the Australian National Anthem at an Adelaide Bite Baseball game with the hiccups. He was delighted this year to have been featured on The Voice where he has hopefully now added to his recognition “Ethan from the Voice” and be known for his outstanding vocal skills at such a young age. Ethan enjoys singing many genres of music although he was featured on The Voice with the beautiful classical hymn “Pie Jesu”, his concert will include music from movies, musicals, Disney and other songs that help describe his story.
