Twilight Food Affair returns with a bang

Tatachilla Lutheran College is thrilled to announce that its flagship event - the Twilight Food Affair - is back for 2024.

One of the biggest community events in McLaren Vale, this year’s Twilight will be taking place on Friday 22 March 2024 and is expected to attract a bumper crowd of 5,000+ people.

The event showcases some of the best food and wine from the Fleurieu region and also features a range of carnival rides, sideshow entertainment, live music and fireworks.

Families are invited to save the date for this stand-out evening of family fun before the close of Daylight Saving and the onset of winter.

The college also invites local food vendors who wish to host a site at the 2024 Twilight Food Affair to register their interest now.

The Twilight Food Affair represents a major opportunity for the community to reconnect in a safe, joyful and festive environment and make new memories with friends and family in the heart of vineyard country.

The event is open to everybody and has been designed to celebrate the important role of togetherness in the lives of our children.

The food line-up typically includes a range of tasty treats from Italy, Mexico, Spain and Vietnam as well as crowd-favourites such as bush burgers, kransky dogs, spinning spuds, hot cinnamon donuts and fairy floss.

The college is currently seeking the participation of the highest quality food trucks and mobile food vendors to help make the 2024 Twilight menu the best one yet.

Grown-ups can enjoy the event’s pop-up bar which will be serving a stellar range of wines and beers that have been generously donated by McLaren Vale’s most beloved cellar doors and breweries.

The Twilight Food Affair as we know it began 18 years ago on college soil and has constantly upheld its commitment to supporting local food and wine businesses and maintaining its authentic, family-friendly vibe.

The college grounds continue to provide a stunning landscape for relaxing with loved ones of all ages. We look forward to seeing old friends and welcoming new visitors in 2024.
