Two of the most beloved picture books in children’s literature are making their way to the stage at Dunstan Playhouse this December, giving Adelaide families the chance to see their favourite characters come to life during the school holidays.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show

Eric Carle’s timeless tale of a very hungry little caterpillar has been delighting children for generations, and now your littlest ones can experience the magic in a whole new way. Created by Jonathan Rockefeller, The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show transforms the iconic story into a masterful theatrical experience featuring more than 75 magical puppets, including the star of the show himself.

An Australian cast brings the colourful world of Eric Carle to life on stage, making this a wonderful first theatre experience for tiny audience members. The show is designed for children aged 18 months and up, along with their grown-ups.
