Little Picasso’s Winter Holiday Program
If your kiddo hasn’t already experienced the messy, vibrant, lively fun of a Little Picassos class, the Adelaide School Holidays July 2020 are a great time to get involved, with extra accompanying adult sessions added so big Picasso’s can also be part of the creativity!
Little Picasso’s Winter Holidays Program offers a fun, creative and innovative environment full of colourful activities for children wanting to splash some paint around and channel the inner artist within.
School Holiday classes and workshops can range from one, two or three hours, to half day, full day sessions for children from 2-16 years of age. Limited spots available due to small groups, so make sure to get in quickly!

This immersive online creative series shining a spotlight on urban art, is the first of its kind, and a free resource for budding teen artists brought to you by The City of Norwood Payneham & St. Peters during the Adelaide School Holidays July 2020: Monday 6 – Friday 17 July 2020.
Course details
Designed for teens at all levels of drawing experience, Urban Art Tutorials is a free course is delivered online and your young artist will have access to:
- Video talks by local Adelaide-based mural and street artists
- Drawing demos by ACSA graduate and teen drawing instructor Alex Beckinsale
- A range of activities and instruction videos to get them creating their own urban art
- Opportunity to have completed works exhibited in the upcoming Canvas Urban Youth Art Exhibition
Whether your teen is just giving art a try or they’re experienced and looking to explore different techniques, these urban art tutorials will inspire creativity, help find and build confidence, and improve overall artistic practice!
Girl Power Workshops
GIRL POWER provides fun, interactive well-being workshops for girls aged 7 – 12 years, with a mission to foster a positive mindset and resilience in girls at a young age, before they embark on their teenage years and exposed to the powerful world of social media. Girl Power workshops are based on positive psychology principles and delivered by way of fun, creative and engaging activities. Girls come away from the workshops knowing themselves better, understanding the power they have over their own lives and with increased social awareness.
The full day workshops during the Adelaide school holidays July 2020:
- explore identity, strengths, friendship, resilience, growth mindset and gratitude through fun, creative and engaging activities.
Girl Power workshops are rotated throughout the year, all focusing on the same important topics but in each workshop, the activities change. This way, your daughter can attend multiple workshops without repeating the same activities.
