Treasure Boxes is a South Australian charity delivering essential items to babies and kids doing it tough – from those escaping domestic violence to families facing homelessness or financial hardship. Clothing, books, school supplies, nappies, even safe cots and prams: the kind of things every child should have, but not every child does.
A clean outfit means one less thing to worry about at school. A proper bed means an actual night’s sleep. It’s simple, but it adds up.
Last year Treasure Boxes supported more than 5,000 children and families across SA, while keeping thousands of tonnes of pre-loved items out of landfill.
