South Australia is the only place you can catch these Pokémon doughnuts

Krispy Kreme SA has launched an exclusive Pokémon collection featuring six character doughnuts you can't get anywhere else in Australia.

If your kids are Pokémon fans (and let’s be honest, whose aren’t?), you might want to swing by Krispy Kreme. The doughnut chain has teamed up with The Pokémon Company International to celebrate 30 years of Pokémon with a brand new collection of character doughnuts, and South Australia is the only place in the country you can get them.

The limited-edition Pokémon Doughnut Collection features six creations inspired by some of the franchise’s most iconic characters. Each one comes topped with a collectible Pokémon piece, so expect some serious negotiations over who gets which doughnut.

Why South Australia?

Carly Higgerson, Head of Krispy Kreme SA/NT, said bringing a globally recognised brand like Pokémon to South Australian customers was a big moment for the local business.

“Collaborations like this allow us to surprise our customers, create memorable experiences and give South Australians something they can’t experience anywhere else in the country,” Higgerson said. “I think this is going to be one of our most exciting launches yet.”

Krispy Kreme’s Chief Brand and Product Officer, Alison Holder, said the team had a lot of fun bringing the Pokémon world to life through doughnuts.

“From Pokémon-inspired creations and playful flavors to themed cups, special packaging and fan surprises, this collection is made to be caught and shared as we celebrate 30 incredible years of Pokémon,” Holder said.

Where to find them

The Pokémon Doughnut Collection is available for a limited time from Krispy Kreme South Australia stores and selected OTR locations. Follow @krispykremesa on social media for collection updates, store information and any surprises throughout the campaign.

Given these are exclusive to SA and only around for a limited time, we’d suggest getting in sooner rather than later. Happy hunting, trainers.
