The clinics are led by Tottenham Hotspur Development Head Coach Matthew Sharman, a highly experienced and esteemed coach.
Matthew designs his sessions around the THFC methodology, adding his own unique approach while staying true to the club’s philosophy. Each session includes layers and progressions to ensure consistency and a clear identity, whether it’s a clinic for U8s or U18s.
Throughout the clinics, he will be assisted by other qualified coaches and members of CBC’s First XI soccer team, ensuring a comprehensive and enriching training experience for all participants.
The clinics focus on technical development in 1v1 scenarios, aiming to ignite a passion for the game while supporting and enhancing the growth of individual players across all skill levels. Guided by a team of coaches and members of CBC’s First XI, participants will develop high-level skills grounded in the Spurs Philosophy.
This clinic represents a significant enhancement to CBC’s soccer program, influenced by the current Tottenham Development program. It offers students a rare opportunity to learn from top-tier coaches and immerse themselves in the world of elite football. The Tottenham Hotspur Global Football Development Program works closely with the Club’s Academy and Women’s Junior Talent Pathway to provide individual progression opportunities for players at all stages of development. Player development is at the heart of the Club, and the Global Development team impacts over 45,000 players and coaches annually, demonstrating year-on-year growth.
