DreamBIG review: Zindzi and the Zillionaires

Three people smiling while posing with large stuffed animals at a fair or carnival.
We came. We saw. We danced! Zindzi and the Zillionaires brought the vibe, the colour, and the party energy in a show that felt more like a kids' music festival than a stage performance – and we were HERE FOR IT.

By Katie Brown

From the moment the music started, the whole theatre was buzzing, and let’s just say… the grown-ups were toe-tapping too!

The high energy the Zindzi and her Zillionaires brought was infectious, the bright colours and strong drum presence got all the kids moving. Blow up beach balls and new dance moves made it feel like a summer festival perfect for kids to get them involved and up out of their seats.

A group of people in colorful costumes performing on stage, showcasing a lively theatrical presentation.

And involved they were! It was pure joy watching the kids join in on the moves, jump for beach balls, and cheer on the larger-than-life characters as they hit the stage.

We all fell in love with cheeky Zipper – always up to mischief and trying to steal those pineapples (classic!). Cutie Zella was a little shy but totally stole the show with her sweet confidence and killer moves. And don’t even get us started on Zooper – the big cuddly star who had everyone grinning from ear to ear.

Zindzi herself was the heart and soul of the show – her joy, beautiful voice and genuine engagement had the kids totally star-struck. She lit up the stage, running through the crowd high-fiving kids, making each one feel like they were part of the Zillionaire crew.

A little girl stands beside a poster that reads "Dream Big," smiling and looking inspired.

Zindzi and the Zillionaires is everything a family show should be – upbeat, inclusive, joyfully chaotic, and packed with positive vibes. If you are looking for your next must-see live experience, this is the one to put on your radar. Just be warned: you might leave with a big smile, tired feet, and a few new signature dance moves.

Zindzi and the Zillionaires lit up the stage with a fun, high-energy dance party that had every kid (and grown-up!) grinning from ear to ear. Pure happiness, turned up to max volume!”
