Did you know that SAHMRI offers a Work Experience Program? The five-day program provides an opportunity for Year 11 and 12 students to learn from world-class researches and get hands-on experience at the SAHMRI laboratories.

The South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI) is a world-class facility dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of people all over the world. SAHMRI is committed to providing opportunities for students and researchers to gain valuable experience through their Work Experience Programs.

SAHMRI’s Work Experience Programs are designed for students who are interested in pursuing a career in the health and medical research field. These programs are available for high school, undergraduate, and postgraduate students who are looking to gain practical experience in a research environment.

SAHMRI work experience

The Work Experience Programs at SAHMRI offer a unique opportunity for students to work alongside leading researchers and scientists in a state-of-the-art facility. Participants will have the chance to engage in hands-on activities and learn about cutting-edge research techniques and technologies.

High school students can participate in SAHMRI’s Work Experience Program, which is designed to give them a taste of what it’s like to work in a research environment. The program includes activities such as lab tours, interactive presentations, and hands-on activities. Students will also have the opportunity to meet with researchers and ask questions about their work and career paths.

SAHMRI is committed to providing opportunities for students to engage in research and contribute to the advancement of the health and medical research field.

Program One will run from July 3- 7. Applications close on Sunday, May 14.
