A high-energy circus performance built from everyday objects, teenage instinct, and serious skill comes to Adelaide Fringe with THE PACK, a brand-new show from SA Circus Centre’s youth and emerging artists.
In this inventive performance, a group of teens take over a house with no adults and transform it into a circus playground. Each performer embodies a recognisable role – the Newbie, the Dreamer, the Rebel, and more – as the pack navigates friendship, risk, and responsibility together.
Circus is the engine of the work. Chairs become launchpads, books turn into balancing challenges, and even the washing machine isn’t safe! The performers twist, climb, and reimagine ordinary furniture as they tumble, soar, and catch one another in a fast-paced display of skill and imagination.

The performers come from the South Australian Circus Centre’s youth pathways, which have been training young artists for four decades. THE PACK captures the spirit of this legacy, showcasing young people taking up space, finding their voice, and discovering what they are capable of together.
The SA Circus Centre troupe has a strong reputation with Fringe audiences, with past shows earning five-star reviews and critical acclaim for both technical skill and emotional depth.
