The Norwood Food & Wine Festival returns on 12 April with street food, live music, chef demonstrations and footy on the big screen - a fun, free day out for families.

South Australia’s biggest street party of food, wine and footy is back, with the Norwood Food & Wine Festival returning on Sunday 12 April as part of AFL Gather Round. The Parade will transform into a vibrant open-air dining precinct packed with local flavours, live entertainment and family-friendly atmosphere.

From 11am, visitors can wander between stalls serving everything from fresh seafood and handmade pasta to flame-grilled favourites and global street food. Traders will partner with South Australian wineries, breweries and distilleries to offer perfectly matched drinks, while outdoor seating makes it easy to relax and enjoy the buzz.

Families can expect plenty to see and do beyond the food. Live music, pop-up DJs, cooking demonstrations from leading chefs Kane Pollard, Laura Sharrad and Duncan Welgemoed, and big screens showing the Geelong v West Coast match at Norwood Oval create a festival feel along the entire strip.

Highlights on the menu include wagyu burgers from arkhé, parmesan-wheel pasta from Enoteca, oysters and kingfish from Fair Seafood, Algerian-style paella collaborations, and snack plates from popular local restaurants. With free entry and a street-party atmosphere, it’s an easy day out for all ages.

More than 90,000 people attended last year’s event, and organisers expect another huge turnout as visitors and locals gather to celebrate South Australia’s hospitality at its best.
