Oh Buoy! Adelaide Welcomes Back The Pontoon

The Pontoon is back and better than ever! After a bit of Instagram banter from @adelaidepontoon we were beginning to worry that Adelaide’s beloved lonely Pontoon might remain neglected forever. Thanks to Adelaide Pontoon Corporation spokesperson Martin Palmer, The Pontoon on the Torrens Riverbank in Elder Park will yet again come alive for its inaugural, free Summer Series.

Following the recent success of Adelaide Pontoon Corporation’s first activation, the ‘Backyard Cricket Pontoon’, it will now play host to ‘The Summer Series’. A perfect place for an evening drink or film for those lucky enough to score a midweek date-night.

Adelaide Pontoon Corporation spokesperson Martin Palmer said: “One thing’s for sure, there won’t be a dull moment on the Riverbank over January. The line-up is set to excite with something for everyone and entry is free.”

Different wineries from the Adelaide Hills will showcase their wine and produce.

On the Jazz stage, The Pontoon will showcase Sally Cameron and Katia Labozzetta. The DJ line up is also impressive and includes Audioporn and James Curd to mention a few.
