New clothing donations for KickStart for Kids’ October Camp

South Australian not-for-profit organisation, KickStart for Kids, is calling for urgent clothing donations for children aged 5–12 years old ahead of the October Camp KickStart.

Founder of KickStart for Kids, Ian Steel explains: “Our kids we look after are in desperate need of new clothes. With cost of living, these kids and their families and are doing it so tough at the moment.  If you have a chance, please drop off new clothing – socks, shoes, undies – we are so grateful!”

The much-loved Camp KickStart program provides school holiday care for vulnerable and disadvantaged children, giving them the opportunity to enjoy fun activities, make new friends and feel supported.

As part of the program, KSFK sets up pop up shops where children can choose brand new clothes, an experience many have never had before.

Donations can cost as little as a few dollars from Kmart, Big W, Target or Best & Less, but will go a long way in helping a child feel confident and cared for.
