A fun circus skills program where kids try aerials, acro and trampolining while building confidence in a supportive indoor space.

If your kids are still talking about the circus tricks they saw at Fringe, here’s their chance to try them for real. The April School Holiday Program at Cirkidz is now open for bookings, with a range of active, hands-on sessions designed for kids aged 5–12. From trampoline tricks to aerial skills, it’s a fun and practical way to get bodies and brains moving in new ways these holidays.

Held at the South Australian Circus Centre, Home of Cirkidz in Bowden, each session is packed with variety. Kids can build confidence through acro and tumbling, explore climbing and balance, and try a wide range of circus disciplines in a fully indoor, air-conditioned space. Along the way, they’ll develop real skills they’ll be proud to show off.

Returning favourites include programs like Off The Wall, Soar & More, Circus Smorgasbord, Circus Pick ’N’ Mix, Ready, Set, Circus, and Cirkour: a high-energy blend of circus and parkour for ages 8–12. Whether kids want to focus on aerials or acro, or sample a bit of everything, there’s something to suit every interest and energy level.

The program runs as a fully supervised Drop & Go, giving parents a few hours back while the kids dive headfirst into circus life.

Sessions run from 8:30am–12pm and 12:30pm–4pm. Half-day bookings are $60, with full-day options available for $110. Kids just need comfy clothes, a water bottle, snacks, and lunch if they’re staying all day.

Holiday programs tend to fill quickly, so booking ahead is recommended. It’s a great way to experience one of South Australia’s most loved creative communities that has helped kids build confidence, coordination, and connection through circus for over 40 years.
