Zoo foods adventure at Adelaide Zoo | Autumn 2026 School Holidays

Adelaide Zoo orangutan
A hands-on zoo adventure where kids explore animal diets through puzzles, activities and a fun recipe trail these holidays.

Adelaide Zoo is serving up a fun and educational school holiday experience with its interactive Zoo Foods adventure.

Families can explore the zoo with a Zoo Foods Recipe Book, discovering what different species eat and how it supports their health and wellbeing. From curious primates to scaly reptiles, each stop offers new insights into the animal world.

Kids will follow clues, complete activities and solve puzzles to uncover missing ingredients and complete their recipes, before taking them home to recreate their own wild-inspired treats.

It’s a playful way to combine learning and exploration, giving kids a deeper understanding of animal diets while enjoying a day at the zoo.
