Reading Revolution is a fun, interactive literacy night for families, held at St Raphael’s School Library. Designed for children from toddlers to Year 6, it helps kids see reading as creative, social and exciting.

What Happens on the Night?
Children help create a brand‑new group story, from beginning to end
Live, theatrical storytelling brings books to life
Optional favourite‑book sharing for kids who’d like to talk about a book they love
Book swap – bring books to share and discover something new
Age‑group activities with separate workshops, so all learners are engaged
Kids take home a copy of the final story and simple ideas to keep reading at home
Reading Revolution is designed for all reading levels and focuses on building confidence, sparking imagination and showing children that reading is more than a school skill – it’s a fun, shared experience.
