What is an Intergenerational Playgroup?
The Learning Tree Intergenerational Playgroup is a weekly gathering where children aged 0-5 and aged care residents come together to share laughter, stories, and play. Through interactive activities, games, and storytelling, this playgroup creates a special space where the youngest and oldest members of the community can connect, learn, and build beautiful, lasting memories.
Why join?
Intergenerational playgroups offer countless benefits, including:
-
Social and emotional development for young children
-
A sense of purpose and joy for older adults
-
Stronger community connections across generations
-
Fun and engaging experiences for families
Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, or caregiver, The Learning Tree is a wonderful way to bond with your child while making a positive impact in the lives of local seniors.
