The Garden of Unearthly Delights: A wonderland for all ages

A diverse crowd of people gathered at an outdoor event, enjoying activities and socializing under a clear blue sky.
Nestled in the heart of Adelaide Fringe, The Garden of Unearthly Delights isn’t just a festival hub—it’s a whimsical playground where families ignite their imaginations.

Renowned for its kaleidoscope of performances and enchanting atmosphere, The Garden transforms into a haven where kids beam with wonder and adults rediscover their inner child.

From gravity-defying circus acts to toe-tapping musical adventures, The Garden’s family-friendly lineup is crafted to captivate all ages. Little ones gasp at dazzling puppet shows where fantastical creatures spring to life, while tweens devour interactive theatre that blurs the line between audience and performer. Parents rave about cheeky comedy gigs that sneak in wit for grown-ups, ensuring no one feels left out.

Highlights include award-winning Mario The Magician Maker, a beloved life-size baby elephant puppet in Sawdust, getting hands and imaginations busy with Upsound Instruments- Make and Play Workshop and The Best of Kids Fringe variety show.

By day, The Garden feels like a storybook village. Kids move freely through the grassed areas and marvel at the side shows while parents sip coffee under sun-dappled trees. As twilight falls, fairy lights twinkle above, and the air hums with live music. Families sharing loaded fries, pizza or dumplings from their huge variety of food vans.

The Garden thrives on inclusivity. Quieter areas during the day offer respite for the overstimulated, while baby-changing facilities and kid-friendly food options make logistics stress-free.

The Garden’s final weeks are ticking by. Gather your tribe and dive into this carnival of joy—where shared laughter becomes the ultimate souvenir.
