Simple. Mindful. Natural. Playdough.

Adelaide Hills based company The Good Dough Co. is taking playdough back to the bare essentials; literally.

Scented with essential oils or natural food based scents, the hand made sensory playdough is all natural and perfect for squishing in little (and big!) hands.

Born out of a love of imaginative play, and the need for every day mindfulness, the family behind The Good Dough Co. value the importance of learning through play.

“We’re proud to offer the highest quality, most unique playdough, perfect for sensory play. From our family to yours, we put lots of love and careful attention in each item. We hope you enjoy playing and creating, as much as we enjoy bringing it to you”.

For big kids too

But why should the kids get all the sensory fun?

The Good Dough Co. playdough is designed and created for everyone to enjoy, adults too! Whether it’s playing along side your kiddos (guilty!), or even taking it into the office, the essential oils are uplifting or calming and a handful of dough makes for a great stress ball. And with scents like lemon, coconut, chocolate, lavender and patchouli, orange and peppermint, they smell good enough to eat! Technically, since they’re all natural, you CAN, but we don’t advise it, perhaps save your dough eating for pizza and keep your Good Dough for playing with!

Each order is made by hand and to order, so is unique to you, and stored in a quaint little screw top jar to maintain optimum freshness for up to 6 months.

Creating small worlds of play

The Good Dough Co. also offer ‘small world’ discovery sets to accompany the natural playdough, so kids can make their own farms, dinosaur land or have a blast with intergalactic space sets (complete with starry glitter playdough!). These sets aim to help children develop crucial creativity and fine motor skills in a fun way. Rolling and stamping dough has a calming effect, and is great for developing hand-eye coordination.
