Grand sumo power hits Australia for the first time with The Sumo Show HIRAKUZA, performing at The Garden of Unearthly Delights from 13 February to 22 March 2026.

Direct from Osaka, Japan, this high-energy theatrical spectacle features former professional sumo wrestlers bringing Japan’s national sport to life through explosive matches, humour, and cultural insight. Presented entirely in English, the show combines elite athleticism with dazzling production, immersive sound and dramatic lighting.

Audiences will witness the raw power and traditions of sumo up close, learn the techniques behind the sport, and see a select few brave audience members step into the ring for a once-in-a-lifetime challenge.

Following the show, fans are invited to stick around for a commemorative photo with the performers, creating a truly memorable experience.
