Back by popular demand, Gravity & Other Myths’ Fringe favourite Ten Thousand Hours returns to Adelaide in 2026 after wowing audiences around the world.

Raved about by The Guardian UK as a “superhuman squad”, this internationally acclaimed circus work has become one of the most talked-about shows in recent Fringe history. Set within the intimate setting of The Peacock at Gluttony, Ten Thousand Hours offers audiences a rare behind-the-scenes glimpse into the making of world-class acrobatics.

The show follows eight elite acrobats and a musician as they explore physical skill — how it is learned, perfected and how it shapes a life. With raw physicality, emotional depth and breathtaking feats, this is circus stripped back to its essence, celebrating time, sweat and sacrifice.

Powerful, personal and visually stunning, Ten Thousand Hours is a must-see Fringe experience for teens and adults seeking something truly extraordinary.
