Sea to Shore Glenelg Seafood Festival 2024
The Sea to Shore Glenelg Seafood Festival is returning for its third year as a weekend-long event on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 October. The festival, which was previously across one day and attracted more than 25,000 visitors to Glenelg, is set to showcase South Australia’s finest seafood at one of the state’s favourite coastal destinations.
This year festival ambassador, Adelaide restaurateur and Masterchef legend, Laura Sharrad, has curated the event with some of South Australia’s best restaurants. Newcomers include Duncan Welgemoed’s Africola, Holdfast Bay local, Oliveti, as well as South Australia’s oldest oyster farm, Franklin Harbour Oyster Co who will be providing their high-quality oysters from their mobile oyster shucking station, expanding this year’s vendors to its largest yet.
Attendees can also enjoy pairings with local wine and gin, all while overlooking Glenelg’s stunning coastline and soak up the spring sun.
From 11am on each day of the festival, Glenelg’s foreshore will become a seafood hub, with well-known South Australian restaurateurs working with producers to showcase sustainably sourced local dishes. A demonstration kitchen will give guests the chance to experience live cooking and hear from a variety of producers.
