Winter School Holidays 2026 | Mini Ivy Art Studio free creative activation at Brickworks Marketplace

South Australian families looking for free school holiday entertainment can unleash their creativity this July, with Mini Ivy Art Studio teaming up with Brickworks Marketplace for a two-week creative activation designed to inspire imagination, exploration and family connection.

Running from Tuesday 7 July to Saturday 18 July 2026, the free program features six hands-on art experiences, a centre-wide Mini Ivy Passport Trail and a colouring competition. Each live session is facilitated by qualified early childhood educators, with premium materials supplied and every child taking home their own creative masterpiece.

The six themed sessions are:

Thursday 9 July-Scratch the Brick Road
Saturday 11 July – Crown Decorating
Tuesday 14 July – Decorate Your Own Brick
Thursday 16 July – My Little Shopfront
Saturday 18 July – This Way To…

The Mini Ivy Passport Trail is a highlight, inviting families to explore Brickworks Marketplace together. After participating in a Mini Ivy activity, children receive a passport that guides them through a series of fun retailer stops throughout the centre. Once completed, they can return to the Mini Ivy activation space to claim a special treat.

Families can also enter the colouring competition running across the full fortnight. Collect a colouring sheet, complete the artwork and return it to the Mini Ivy stall by Saturday 18 July for the chance to win a $20 Big W voucher and a Mini Ivy art and craft box.
