Glenelg at Francesca’s Pizza + Sandos $2 Margherita pizza a portafoglio

Folded-up pizza and deli-style focaccia sandos with luscious flavour have arrived in Glenelg at Francesca’s Pizza + Sandos. 

The Anzac Highway eatery is a concept brought to life by the founder and previous owner of Hey Bianca and will feature some iconic Italian pizza styles not widely sold in Australia.

Dough lovers will be able to grab a pizza portafoglio for lunch; a folded street food pizza popular in Naples, as well as a selection of freshly made sandos using focaccia dough baked in-house daily, alongside wood oven Napoletana and Sicilian pizza. 

To mark Francesca’s opening, there will be a $2 Margherita pizza a portafoglio until sold out on Wednesday, 13th March. The price also reflects its consumption in Naples, where it is regularly purchased at a low price as a street food snack.
