What happens when I go to BIG SCHOOL with a focus on why LITERACY is important.

A session for parents, children and the whole family. Join us for this session at St Raphael’s School, where we will delve into the exciting transition from Kindergarten to Primary School. This event is designed to provide families with a comprehensive understanding of what to expect when your little one makes the big leap to school. Whether you are considering St Raphael’s School or not, this session is open to everyone eager to learn more about this significant milestone in a child’s life. A chance to answer your little ones question: “What happens when I go to big school?” One of the key topics we will also explore is the importance of literacy in a child’s development. Premier Peter Malinauskas emphasises the significance of reading with the Words Grow Minds campaign, stating, “Reading is one of the most important things you can do with a young person.” At St Raphael’s School, we share this belief and are committed to delivering a tailored literacy program that supports your child’s growth from infancy to readiness for secondary school. Learn more about our specific learning/literacy-focus.
