Carclew Holiday Camp

Carclew’s popular Holiday Camp is back at our stunning North Adelaide home! We’re offering five fun-filled days of creativity and adventure for ages 5-17, with workshops in dance, circus, visual arts, and music. Whether your child is a budding artist, dancer, an aspiring circus performer, or just looking to have some fun, there’s something for everyone. We’re also excited to offer special music workshops for teens, where young musicians can explore and develop their talents in a creative, supportive environment. Running from Monday, January 20th to Friday, January 24th, the camp features hands-on workshops led by top arts practitioners and exciting collaborations with renowned arts organisations, including Australian Dance Theatre and Lolly Jar Circus. Additionally, our OSHC program will be available throughout December and January—check with your child’s school to see if they’d like to join our OSHC Holiday Camp. Whats on?: Paint the house with Chloe Noble: Explore watercolour and collage techniques with professional artist Chloe Noble as they guide you in creating your own interpretation of Carclew House! Tower of Flour: Get hands on in this collaborative cake decorating experience! You Better Werk!: Textiles galore! Embrace your passion for fashion and get ready to walk the runway in our costume making area! Tales from the House: Challenge your friends with hilarious, improvised scripts and spontaneous performances. Plus, check out our chill zone packed with board games and an acoustic instrument jam spot to keep those good vibes flowing. Kids & teens school holiday pottery session

During this unique, hands-on session kids will try the pottery wheel for 60 minutes, then will work on a hand-building project for another 60 minutes. Kiddos won’t just be making it, you’ll actually be able to use it afterwards, with one project fired to food-safe and waterproof finishing, using only Australian-certified products. Kids will try the pottery wheel and a hand building project, making a cup, cheese board, bowls and more, introducing different project every day. So that friends and family will stay together 2 separate groups according to age or accompanied friends are available to book. 30 minutes break in the nature reserve next to the studio is scheduled into the day, where kids can have their recess and snacks. Please nut-free snacks. Fee per session $65. $30 discount when you book 4 sessions for one person. We use environmental friendly process to save our planet one piece at a time. This session is also offered as a private session for birthday parties. Ages from 7 to 17, Not suitable for kids under 7.
