Everyday Aussie kids between the ages of 6 to 12 years old have the chance to audition for a once-in-a-lifetime role in one of Australia’s most iconic advertisements.
The Happy Little VEGEMITEs advertisement has been a significant part of Australian culture for generations. VEGEMITE aims to write the next chapter of its advertising history by giving children the opportunity to make history and become a part of the country’s legacy.
VEGEMITE Marketing Manager, Jess Hoare, said, “VEGEMITE has spread joy and happiness across the nation for the last 100 years, and we’re honoured to raise a toast to the Aussie icon by remaking the Happy Little VEGEMITEs advertisement.”
We can’t wait to see the remake embraced by Aussies for many more years to come.
VEGEMITE is looking for confident, outgoing kids with full of energy, and acting experience is not necessary.
Selected children will have the chance to feature in an advertisement celebrating 100 years of VEGEMITE. The shoot will take place in Melbourne, and all travel costs will be covered. The casting call submissions close on May 4th, 2023, at 11.59 PM, and the shoot will be held in early June for one day.
To apply, all you need to do is send an email to vegemite@studio-p.com.au with the child’s full name, age, suburb, state, and a recent photo. Studio-P will provide all details regarding the opportunity, including terms and conditions, upon application.
