KickStart for Kids Annual ‘No Breakfast, Breakfast’ is returning on Thursday 8 December at the Hilton Adelaide.

The ‘No Breakfast, Breakfast’ – emceed this year by KickStart for Kids Ambassador Bec Morse gives busy executives the opportunity to start their day by supporting thousands of hungry South Australian kids as they voluntarily skip breakfast.

KickStart for Kids is a South Australian not-for-profit organisation that provides a breakfast program for underprivileged kids who often start their day on an empty stomach. The program currently serves around 60,000 breakfasts per week in over 400 schools across the state, including the North, West, South and several regional areas.

KickStart for Kids founder, Ian Steel OAM, said:

There is a huge product shortage for our breakfast program, and thousands of kids are in dire need of our support.

Guests may choose to indulge in breakfast after the event, or continue their day on an empty stomach and experience this effect on their mental and physical strength. Either way, the privilege of breakfast should be acknowledged and appreciated.

KickStart for Kids Ambassador Bec Morse said, “KickStart for Kids and its founder Ian Steel, do really important work for South Australian kids through their breakfast and lunch program as well as their holiday camps – they make the lives of kids across this state that little bit easier.”

KickStart for Kids is calling on the good people of Adelaide to help with their mission and the ‘No Breakfast, Breakfast’ gives you the opportunity to do so.

All the money raised from ticket sales will go towards purchasing breakfasts for the program.

“The majority of us are so lucky to wake up and have access to breakfast every single morning, a basic comfort that so many lack,” said Ian.

“This event is a fantastic opportunity for individuals, offices, schools and others to help us combat the severity of child hunger in South Australia” he said.

Tickets are $65 for a single ticket or $660 for a table of 10 with all proceeds going to KickStart for Kids.
