Cloth nappy and reusable sanitary product rebate

Cloth nappy recycling
The City of Tea Tree Gully is on a mission to reduce landfill waste and they’re offering rebates on cloth nappies and reusable sanitary items to make it happen!

Australians send a staggering 450,000 tonnes of disposable nappies and sanitary items to landfill each year, but with modern cloth nappies and reusable sanitary items, we can all make a difference. Not only are they easy to use, clean and wear, but they also help to reduce the amount of waste that ends up in our landfills.

So what’s on offer?

Each household in the City of Tea Tree Gully is eligible for one rebate per category, and previous applicants can re-apply. You’ll need to make separate applications for each category, but before you apply, be sure to check out the terms and conditions.

For cloth nappies, you can claim 50% of the purchase price with a maximum refund of $150. This includes cloth and swim nappies, reusable inner liners for nappies, reusable wipes, wet bags, and reusable nursing breast pads.

For reusable sanitary products, you can claim 50% of the purchase price with a maximum refund of $50. This includes sanitary pads, sanitary cups, leak-proof underwear, and wet bags.

So if you’re looking for a way to reduce your carbon footprint and do your bit for the environment, why not make the switch to cloth nappies and reusable sanitary items? With these rebates on offer, it’s a no-brainer!
