Opening Night – Tindo Utpurndee Sunset Ceremony

16 Feb at 8PM on the South Australian Museum lawns

To officially open the 2018 Adelaide Fringe everyone is invited to this significant Sunset Ceremony to recognise the living culture of the First Nations and to pay respect to the spirit of the land. When you walk in someone else’s country it is always important to walk softly and with respect.

This place holds many ancient stories and Tindo Utpurndee is one of these, which speaks of spirit and sharing of light.

Gluttony – The Empyrean
Every party has a pooper! Welcome to the Madhouse Circus surprise birthday party; they’ve got the games and balloons ready but where kids are involved things don’t always go to plan. It wouldn’t be a birthday party if someone didn’t cry and demand their parents take them home before cake. There’ll be hilarity, acrobatics and balloons popping like crazy! Presented by the acrobats of Madhouse Circus, who can’t wait to return to Adelaide after their last successful season of Illuminate in 2015.
