New Catholic Schools for SA

Catholic Education South Australia is thrilled to announce the opening of two new Catholic schools - one in Adelaide's northern suburb of Riverlea and another in Strathalbyn.

These new schools aim to meet the growing demand for quality education and provide state-of-the-art facilities to support student learning and development.

New Catholic School for Adelaide’s North

A new Catholic school is set to open in Adelaide’s northern suburbs, providing much-needed educational opportunities in this rapidly growing region. The school, to be located in the Riverlea Park development, will initially cater to students from Reception to Year 6, with plans to expand to Year 12 in the future. This new school will offer a comprehensive education grounded in Catholic values, aiming to nurture the spiritual, academic, and social development of every student.

The school will feature modern learning spaces, including flexible classrooms, outdoor learning areas, and facilities designed to support a wide range of educational activities. The emphasis will be on creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where students can thrive and develop their full potential.

New Catholic School for Strathalbyn

Similarly, the town of Strathalbyn will welcome a new Catholic school, which will be the first of its kind in the area. This school will also begin by offering classes from Reception to Year 6, with future plans to extend to higher year levels. The establishment of this school is a significant milestone for the local community, providing families with greater access to Catholic education close to home.

The Strathalbyn school will be designed with state-of-the-art facilities that promote collaborative learning and cater to the diverse needs of students. The school’s curriculum will focus on holistic education, emphasising not only academic excellence but also the development of moral and ethical values grounded in the Catholic tradition.

The opening of these new schools in Riverlea and Strathalbyn represents a significant investment in the future of education in South Australia. Catholic Education South Australia remains dedicated to providing outstanding educational opportunities that cater to the needs of diverse communities across the state.
