Why have 1 flavour of Gelato when you can have 48?

You know the old adage, ‘money can’t buy happiness but it can buy gelato and that’s the same thing’? Well we’ve got the scoop on the place happiness lives and there’s a whole 48 flavours to choose from!

That’s right, after opening its first South Australian store in Gouger Street in 2014, 48 Flavours have continued to expand and evolve, recently opening a new store in Unley, and we just had to check it out.

WHY 48 FLAVOURS?

Each day, 48 Flavours have… you guessed it…48 delicious flavours of award winning Gelatos and Sorbets available to choose across their range. And we’re not just talking run of the mill Gelato here, they use real natural ingredients and always have a range of twelve dairy free sorbets made with fresh fruit that are vegan, as well as sugar-free varieties.

Having 48 flavours to choose from means that there are always the traditional options on the menu; think Pistachio, Hazelnut, Chocolate and Lemon, but they also can branch out by offering seasonal options and get creative with Asian flavours like Black Sesame, Lychee and Pandan. And because we ALL scream for icecream, 48 Flavours also offer varieties tailored specifically for people with intolerances or special dietary requirements.

Gelato Cakes

There’s only one thing better than eating Gelato alone, and that’s sharing it with friends!

You can order one of 48 Flavours’ custom flavoured gelati cakes to share for a celebration, an occasion or, you know, just a regular Thursday.

Sorbet, every day!

48 Flavours currently has four stores across South Australia, all open 7 days a week. Life is short… eat the ice cream!
