Satisfy your sweet tooth at St. Louis

A table filled with waffles, fresh strawberries, and an assortment of colorful desserts.
Great news for dessert lovers and families across South Australia—St. Louis, our fave ice cream and gelato brand, has expanded.

St. Louis has opened two new locations: one at Prospect Road in Prospect and another in Elizabeth Shopping Centre.

Starting as a humble dessert bar in 2012, St. Louis now boasts 15 locations, including two international stores in the Philippines! The family-owned business has become a destination for families and dessert lovers, offering high-quality European-style gelato made with locally sourced ingredients like Kangaroo Island honey and fresh produce from the Adelaide Central Market.

“St. Louis is more than just a dessert bar—it’s a place where families and friends can come together to enjoy handcrafted, high-quality desserts,” says George Karamalis, Co-Founder of St. Louis. “Expanding to Elizabeth and Prospect means we get to share our passion with even more South Australians.”

Families love St. Louis because it’s:

  • Kid-friendly – the perfect spot for after-school treats, weekend outings, or family celebrations
  • Handcrafted & locally sourced – premium gelato, desserts, and drinks made fresh with SA ingredients
  • Cosy atmosphere – warm and welcoming spaces designed for connection, indulgence, and fun

Mesha Karamalis, Co-Founder, adds, “We’ve always been committed to quality and supporting local producers. Everything from our flour to our dairy and fruit comes from South Australian suppliers. These new stores are another step in bringing our signature experience to even more local communities.”
