Sneak peek week at The Garden of Unearthly Delights

The heavenly gates have officially opened, offering a glittering six-week season of world-class entertainment, unforgettable energy, and awe-inspiring performances. So, what can you look forward to at our fave Fringe venue?

The Garden of Unearthly Delights has officially opened its magical gates!

It has opened a whole week earlier than the Adelaide Fringe, as part of its sneak peek week.

The Garden will be buzzing with energy and excitement, showing off the full 2025 program with more than 80 amazing shows, including 20 world and Australian premieres and 18 award-winning acts making their debut.

With the Garden opening early, it’s the perfect chance to get everyone in Adelaide excited about the 2025 Fringe season. Plus, it makes for a brilliant outing this Valentine’s Day weekend!

Here’s what you can look forward to in the opening week:

The magical gates opened Friday, 14th February, kicking off a six-week season packed with world-class entertainment, high-energy shows, and stunning performances.

This year’s program has more than 80 dazzling shows, including 20 World Premieres, Australian premieres, and 18 award-winning new acts.

The Garden is Australia’s favourite outdoor performance spot at the Adelaide Fringe, featuring top-notch magic, comedy, circus acts, cabaret, music, and family-friendly fun.

The Garden is all about being welcoming and inclusive, with plenty of free entertainment and activities designed for everyone.

What’s up first

The Garden Sessions

Move and groove to the Garden’s free music program featuring the best new Indigenous artists, begins on Saturday. Expect performances from Katie Aspel, Rob Edwards, Bec Gollan, Troy Rigney, Sonia Smith, Kenneth Wilson, and Cat Carter.

Dream State

This is a brand-new immersive experience created by Adelaide artist David Musch, with music by local artist Luke Million, taking you on a journey through the subconscious.

Chef Duncan Welgemoed

Chef Welgemoed will be at the Garden every Wednesday to Sunday night with his restaurant, The Flamin’ Galah, cooking up delicious dishes on South Australia’s biggest fire pit. There’ll also be a range of tasty food stalls, including yakatori grills, spits, barbecues, tacos, pizza, paella, desserts, and plenty of drink options like wine and cocktails for the adults.
