PSA parents: The place to get your coffee fix these school holidays

A woman and two children enjoy coffee together at a table, sharing a warm and engaging moment.
A café the whole family will love? You bet your babyccino. Just ten minutes north of the CBD in Clearview, 1947 Coffee Co. is serving up more than just great coffee; it’s serving family vibes, fresh flavours and plenty of fun for the little ones.

1947 Coffee Co.’s all-day menu is packed with fresh, seasonal goodness (think locally sourced produce and bold flavours), and their dedicated kids’ menu is the stuff tiny tastebud dreams are made of; from eggs on toast and babyccinos to the super cute (and super tasty) apple donut balls.

Right next door? A gorgeous nature play area that encourages climbing, exploring and imagination. Inside the café, there’s colouring in and biscuit painting to keep little hands busy while you finish your latte in peace (or at least take a few warm sips).

A table filled with various plates of food, showcasing a colorful assortment of dishes and culinary delights.

Got a pram in tow? No worries. There’s plenty of space between tables and highchairs on hand, making it an easy stop for families with babies and toddlers. And during school holidays, the café levels up with creative workshops like pizza making, cupcake decorating and even mini terrarium building, perfect for keeping the kiddos entertained while you brunch. Heads up: these book out fast, so keep an eye on 1947.coffee/kids for updates.

Oh, and fur babies? Totally welcome. With outdoor seating, puppuccinos and homemade dog treats, even your dog gets to join in the family fun.

Three children play on a wooden structure, surrounded by sand, enjoying a sunny day.

Eco-conscious and coffee-obsessed? You’re in good company. At 1947 Coffee Co., sustainability isn’t just a buzzword, it’s part of the everyday. All packaging is commercially compostable, they’ve teamed up with Fleurieu Milk Company for milk on tap (bye-bye plastic bottles), and you can even refill your own glass bottles with fresh, local milk. Driving electric? There’s a fast-charging EV station in the carpark, so your car can recharge while you do too.

Add in free onsite parking, a welcoming vibe, and food that hits the spot every time,  and you’ve just found your new go-to. Big breakfast, cheeky brunch, long lunch or just a quick coffee… 1947 Coffee Co. is where family moments (and cravings) are sorted.
