Minda's annual gift-wrapping station is back at Adelaide Arcade this Mother's Day weekend. Have your gifts wrapped by volunteers for a small donation, with all proceeds supporting people with intellectual disability in South Australia.

Mother’s Day is just around the corner, and Minda is making it a little easier to shop with heart. The annual gift-wrapping station is back at Adelaide Arcade on Friday 8 May and Saturday 9 May, where volunteers will be on hand to wrap your purchases into gifts made with love.

For a small donation, $4 gets one gift wrapped or $10 covers three, with all money raised going directly to Minda to support people with intellectual disability.

Minda’s Chief Executive Dr David Panter says it’s a tradition worth celebrating: “Our volunteers know that every gift wrapped is a step toward creating a better future for the clients we support. We value our volunteers’ commitment to fostering a more inclusive and compassionate community.”

He’s encouraging everyone to stop by, whatever their reason: “If you’re visiting Adelaide Arcade, please stop by, whether you need a gift wrapped with care or just like a friendly chat. Our team is here to make your Mother’s Day preparations a little brighter.”

The wrapping station is open:

  • Friday 8 May: 10am–6pm
  • Saturday 9 May: 10am–5pm
