From Adelaide Hills cherries, Riverland stone fruit and handmade fruit mince tarts, chocolates, and puddings, to fresh local Rock Lobster and house smoked hams – Christmas has arrived at the Adelaide Central Market.

Adelaide Central Market Authority General Manager Jodie Kannane said Christmas at the Market was always a celebrated occasion for customers, with an abundance of the best local produce, Christmas essentials and festive favourites arriving daily in preparation for the busiest trading period of the year.

“After what’s been another challenging year, we encourage everyone to shop local and support our extensive network of small businesses and local suppliers this festive season. With additional trading days and over 70 traders under one roof, shoppers will find everything they need for entertaining and celebrating in one central location – seafood, meat, turkey, fruit and veg, puddings, cheeses – everything you need is at the Market.”

The Market Stall will also be open for its first Christmas with Christmas- themed hampers, Market merchandise, gift cards and free trolley hire.

Shoppers can enjoy live music, Christmas carols with the Australian Girls’ Choir, roving entertainment and free craft workshops for kids.
