Fun, Fitness, Friends and Fundraising with Coastrek in the Fleurieu

Get the ladies together for a good cause!

Coastrek is one of the most successful fundraising events in Australia that is great for your head and your heart.

They host events accross Australia where teams of four commit to a fundraising goal of $2000 or more by undergoing a coastal trek challenge!

This September they are coming to SA! Explore the magic of Fleurieu Peninsula, hiking 30km or 60km of rugged coastline, spectacular bays, secret bush trails and historic sites. Don’t worry there’s lots of stops and snacks along the way.

And you betchya KIDDO will be involved! We will be putting on our favourite activewear and sweating it out.

This is an incredible adventure challenge that you can undergo with your team of 3 friends or colleagues, while changing lives and supporting Beyond Blue.

The great part? This will not only benefit the people you are raising money for, but your own mental health too. When you do amazing things for others, you feel amazing. Super amazing. It’s a scientific fact that it’s an absolute win, win.

Fundraising also helps you commit to your wellbeing goals. It will make the fitness component of the Coastrek challenge easier, as you’ll be committed to following through until you smash across that finish line.

The third reason to get involved is well, simply because it’s fun. There’s so many fabulous, fun things you can do to reach your fundraising goal. The limit is your imagination, so grab your team (and some cheese and wine!) and get brainstorming.

• Friday 20 September 2019
• Fleurieu Peninsula, SA : Parsons Beach (60km) or Victor Harbour (30km) to Goolwa
• 60km and 30km events
• Teams of 4, at least 50% women
• Raising funds for Beyond Blue

Coastrek is a life-changing adventure which has inspired nearly 25,000 people, off the couch and into hiking, and raised over $25 Million for charity.
