Family fun this Easter at the Market

The Adelaide Central Market is your go-to destination for Easter Fun this long weekend.

From freshly baked hot cross buns to Easter eggs, marshmallow bunnies and giant chocolate bunnies, Market traders are restocking their shelves daily with everything you need for your long weekend. Find local carrots for the Easter Bunny, adorable easter themed biscuits and traditional European treats under one roof. There’s also a number of vegan, gluten-free and keto treats available from traders like House of Health and Jamu.

If you’re visiting Easter Saturday kids can FREE activities from 9.30am – 12pm at the Market. Get your face painted like the Easter Bunny and enjoy kids crafts in between shopping. Bookings aren’t required by small waits may apply. There’s also live music on both Thursday and Saturday featuring some of the best local talent.

The popular (and sure to sell out) Kids Easter Trail is back for 2024 on Easter Thursday from 4.30pm. Grab your map and bag before hopping around the Market to collect a range of delicious treats including chocolates, flavoured milk and more. $5 per participant, online bookings are required.

If you’re too busy to pop into the Market, they can also deliver all your long weekend essentials direct to your door in the leadup to Easter (and year round). Shop more than 2000 products online, hand-picked by our traders and delivered Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Easter week, as well as Click & Collect Thursday evening.

Shopping local at the Market is even easier this long weekend with extended trading hours on Thursday from 7am – 7pm and Easter Saturday from 7am – 3pm. Shoppers can also enjoy three hours FREE parking on Saturdays when they park across the road from the Market at UPark Grote or UPark Andrew and validate their ticket at The Market Stall. *Offer not valid at UPark Central Market.
