Hop into Barossa Valley Chocolate Company for a handcrafted Easter

The Barossa Valley Chocolate Company are set to celebrate a fun-filled Easter. The facility, just outside of Tanunda, will be open from 10am – 5pm every day of the Easter long weekend and will host daily activities, including Easter Egg Hunts and visits from the Easter Bunny himself.

The Barossa Valley Chocolate Company are set to celebrate a fun-filled Easter. The facility, just outside of Tanunda at 64 Burings Rd, will be open from 10am – 5pm every day of the Easter break and will host daily activities, including Easter Egg Hunts and visits from the Easter Bunny himself.

Easter Egg hunts will be free for children to participate in order to earn themselves a Barossa Valley Chocolates Easter Egg. Easter Egg hunts will be held daily at 11am and 3pm, hosted by the Easter Bunny himself and the Barossa Valley Chocolate Company staff. Free sampling of some of the 250+ specialty handmade chocolates will be available all weekend, with options rotating regularly.

The Easter Bunny will be visiting the site all weekend, with rumours he will be making regular appearances in the Chocolate Kitchen to instruct the team of Chocolatiers on what chocolates they should be making. All the action can be viewed for free from the 14m viewing window into the state-of-the-art Chocolate Kitchen.

The Easter range at Barossa Valley Chocolates includes their signature Easter Bunny, Mary Hoppins, which features hand piped details of Dark, Milk and coloured chocolate and the pinnacle of Easter treats – the Eggasaurus XL Eggs, which include over 1kg of chocolate.  Custom Eggasaurus designs include Multicolours (Ruby, Milk and Dark chocolate), Gold Dusted and Speckled – covered in hundreds and thousands of 100s & 1000s!

Cafe and Vineyard Road Cellar Door Open all Weekend

Benni’s Café will be open all weekend, featuring their new Autumn menu that incorporates local seasonal ingredients along with comfort food favourites such as pizzas and burgers. There will also be dessert specials – such as a dessert pizza – featuring Barossa Valley Chocolates, fresh fruit and housemade gelati. Online bookings at barossavalleychocolates.com.au are highly encouraged as capacity is limited and sessions do book out.

For the adults, the Vineyard Road Cellar Door, located next to Benni’s Café, will be hosting their newly updated Wine & Chocolate Pairing and brand-new Wine & Cheese Pairing experiences all Easter. The wine selection covers a breadth from Vineyard Road’s premium Barossa range, including some wines grown on the site’s surrounding vineyards. Cheeses are locally sourced from Barossa Valley Cheese Co. and Woodside Cheese Wrights. Non-Alcoholic alternatives are available.
