Cleland Wildlife Park is open again!

With the easing of COVID-19 restrictions, Cleland Wildlife Park has been able to reopen this week, and the animals can’t wait to see you!

If you’re itching to escape the indoors and take the kids on an adventure, the time has finally come. With the easing of COVID-19 restrictions, Cleland Wildlife Park has been able to reopen this week, and the animals can’t wait to see you!

Cleland’s wide-open spaces are the perfect place to stroll in the autumn sunshine and meet some furry friends with the kids. Bring a picnic, or have a barbecue and you can spend the whole day. The park has recently tweaked some experiences so the grounds and animals can be enjoyed by visitors again, whilst observing government social distancing guidelines.

At this stage, visitors will be able to get takeaway coffee and food from the café (with cashless transactions), visit the gift shop and see a wide variety of native animals in their enclosures.

Next month, as COVD19 restrictions continue to be eased, Cleland Wildlife Park will seek to reintroduce keeper talks.

Opening hours:

9.30am – 5pm every day
(except Christmas Day or days of catastrophic fire danger).
Entry gates close at 4.30pm.
