This year, MAKE A MEMORY That Will Last a Lifetime
Live music experiences your whole family will be talking about for years to come.
The lights dim, the orchestra strikes up, and your child’s eyes go wide, not because of a screen, but because of something real, alive, and happening right in front of them.
This year, the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra are bringing that experience closer to your family than ever before, with concerts designed so the kids are captivated, the grown-ups are moved, and everyone leaves having truly felt the music.

Adventure Awaits
Designed for children aged 5 to 12, Are We There Yet? is our joyful, high-energy family concert that turns a roadtrip into a rollicking adventure through music.
From the moment it begins, kids are drawn into a world of sound, story, and spectacle, all created live by world-class musicians who know how to perform for an audience of little ones (and their very willing parents).
Last year, one parent described it simply: “Being up close to the musicians was a real thrill. The humour and approachability of the format made it easy for the children to relate to and enjoy.”

Hear the Film You Love, Played Live
There’s something that happens when a beloved film score is played live that not even the best movie night at home can replicate.
This year the ASO are thrilled to present How to Train Your Dragon in Concert, the complete film on the big screen, with John Powell’s soaring, sweeping score performed live by the full orchestra.
If you or your family has ever watched Hiccup and Toothless take flight and felt the hairs stand up on the back of your necks, wait until you hear it played live in the same room as you.
One audience member put it best – “It was truly spine tingling in parts, and definitely added to the experience of having such a skilled and powerful orchestra on stage” – it’s a whole new experience.

Make This the Year You Go Live
In a world of endless content and on-demand everything, a live performance is one of the few truly irreplaceable experiences left.
It can’t be paused, rewound, or watched alone in separate rooms. It happens together, in the moment, and those shared moments are the ones families carry with them for years.
Whether you’re bringing little ones to their very first concert or looking for a family outing that goes beyond the usual, this season has something for every age and every taste.
