There aren’t too many activities that tick all the boxes with kids and parents alike when it comes to school holiday entertainment, but we’ve absolutely found one: a visit to the Barossa Valley Chocolate Company.

Barossa Valley Chocolate Company is the perfect spot to spend a day with the kids, indulging in yummy chocolate goodies, delicious food, gelato… and even wine for the parents.

Wine without a side of whine, it’s the perfect combo!

We’ve rounded up the range of options on offer at the chocolaterie and Vineyard Road cellar door that will keep the whole family happy.

BENNI’S CAFE

The on site eatery, Benni’s Café will be open for lunch daily in the school holidays from 12pm-3pm.

Enjoy a delicious meal of locally sourced café style food while overlooking the water on their stunning deck.

Coffee and a delicious range of cake will also be served daily from 10am-5pm.

ICE CREAMERY

Barossa Valley Chocolate Company’s very own Ice Creamery will also be open from 12pm-4pm in the school holidays!

Usually only open on weekends, you will have the opportunity to be treated to an exquisite selection of homemade gelato that will no doubt tickle your taste buds.

VINEYARD ROAD CELLAR DOOR

You can get your wine on these school holidays, because the Vineyard Road Cellar Door is going to be open for daily tastings, as well as their famous chocolate and wine pairing experience.

However, make sure you book in advance as these sessions sell out fast!

CHOCOLATERIE

Bring part of the company home by shopping in the Chocolate Shop where you can purchase goodies like the Barossa Valley Chocolate Company’s popular Rocky Road, Benni the Koala, a whole array of chocolate bars and hundreds of other chocolatey treats.

The shop also features a large window showcasing the chocolatiers making the chocolate which always provides great excitement for the little ones!
