School’s out and kickstart the fun at Gathered Design Market. From 13 to 15 December, the favourite artisan market is perfect chance to get into the festive spirit and support more than 70 amazing local SA designers and small businesses.
With everything from homewares and candles to flowers, jewellery, kids’ bits, art, clothing, skincare, and more, you’ll be ticking off your Christmas shopping list in no time – or maybe treating yourself.
But it’s not all about shopping – there’s plenty of festive fun to enjoy! Grab a coffee, wine, or gin, and tuck into a tasty bite from the food stalls while you browse.
Check out these five fab kid-friendly stalls:
- The Amazing Toy Box – A treasure trove of handmade, natural toys, including cute animals, interactive “play foods” from Tara Treasures, puppets, playmats, and more fun stuff.
- Freeze Fusion Delights – Freeze-dried lollies galore! Think Skittles, Red Rippers, Nerd Clusters, Allen’s Party Mix and all your favourite classics.
- The Crafty Dragons Apothecary – Handmade plushies, including crochet cows and hand-sewn dragons. Perfect for cuddles!
- HUE Nails – Get your sparkle on with their quirky press-on nail designs. Super fun and easy to wear!
- Meenu’s Henna – Traditional and creative henna designs to suit all tastes and budgets. So pretty!
Plus, don’t miss the Cookie Luxe stall with their trendy loaded cookies and viral Dubai chocolate bars. And, of course, Crushes will be back with their famous chocolate-coated strawberries (a total sell-out last year!)
There’s also a lovely grass area where families can lay down a picnic blanket and enjoy tasty treats from local producers, while live music from Kat Raynor, Sammi Leigh, and Weezy Listening adds to the vibe.
