Mum-founded Australian brand Meke Baby has launched in Baby Bunting stores nationwide, marking a major milestone for the small business behind Australia’s first portable milk warmer.
Founder Elysia Krstevski created the original Meke Baby Portable Milk Warmer in 2023, after a difficult experience feeding her baby while out shopping. Battling mastitis at the time, she had no way to warm her expressed breastmilk once the cafes and parents’ rooms nearby had closed for the day.
“I started researching solutions. I thought there had to be something out there that would allow me to warm my baby’s milk anywhere, safely and quickly. There was nothing,” Elysia said.
That gap in the market became the foundation for Meke Baby, which has since sold out seven times and reached 20,000 orders. The range has grown alongside Elysia’s own family and now includes the Go-Box portable lunchbox warmer, the Express Milk Warmer 2.0, the Express Formula PRO Milk Warmer and the Twist Bottle.

Landing a spot on Baby Bunting’s shelves took three years of work, with Meke Baby effectively asking Australia’s largest baby retailer to back an entirely new feeding category.
“It validates not only the product, but the belief that parents were ready for a new standard,” Elysia said. “For us, it’s not just about shelf space. It’s about helping establish a new category and making innovative feeding solutions more accessible to families across the country.”
The retail launch coincides with a brand refresh for Meke Baby, positioning it as a purpose-led brand focused on solving real parenting challenges, including growing concerns among parents about plastic exposure when warming food and milk for their babies.
With Baby Bunting on board, Meke Baby is now looking to international markets and expanding its product range.
