National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant

The National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant returns to Adelaide on Saturday 14 November 2026, marking another year of one of Australia’s most beloved family traditions. Since 1933, the pageant has been welcoming Father Christmas to Australia, and it’s now the Southern Hemisphere’s largest public parade.

Expect over 170 moving theatrical sets, 3000 costumes, 300 clowns and elves, 18 bands and four choirs making their way through the city streets. This year’s newest addition is Sandy Christmas, a mini float designed by Year 5 student Riley celebrating the simple pleasures of a South Australian summer, complete with hot chips and a cool koala.

Grab your spot behind the Blue Honour Line and join hundreds of thousands of fellow spectators for this free event that truly kicks off the festive season in Adelaide.
