Bugaboo x Stella McCartney | A new luxury pram collaboration landing in 2026

Two design powerhouses are joining forces. Bugaboo and Stella McCartney have announced a multi-year partnership that promises to bring fashion-forward, sustainable style to the pram world.

If your pram is basically an extension of your personal style (and let’s be honest, you’re pushing it around enough that it should be), this news is for you. Bugaboo and Stella McCartney have just announced a special-edition collaboration set to launch globally in September 2026.

The multi-year partnership brings together the Dutch pram brand known for its design-led engineering and the British fashion house celebrated for luxury with a conscience. The result? A collection that reimagines parenting essentials through Stella McCartney’s signature aesthetic.

This is Bugaboo’s first major fashion collaboration in over a decade. Previous partnerships have included Missoni, Diesel and Kith, but this one marks a new chapter in the brand’s cultural positioning.

What the designers say

Stella McCartney shared her perspective on the partnership: “As a mother, I want the things I design to reflect the world I want to build. Working with Bugaboo felt completely natural, as it’s a brand that shares our commitment to innovation and responsibility. This collection is for every mum who wants to bring her own individuality and playfulness into parenthood.”

Adriaan Thierry, CEO at Bugaboo, added: “Today’s parents are design-minded, values-driven and on the front-foot of culture. They expect the brands they choose to reflect that. Stella McCartney and Bugaboo are pioneers in their respective fields, each known for pushing boundaries and challenging industry norms.”

Sustainability at the core

Beyond the aesthetic appeal, the collaboration reflects both brands’ commitment to responsible design. Materials used throughout the collection include:

  • Recycled polyester fabrics made from plastic bottles
  • Water-free dye technology
  • Recycled aluminium
  • Bio-based materials designed to reduce environmental impact

The bigger picture

For Bugaboo, this partnership is part of a broader strategy to connect with parents who view parenting as an extension of personal identity and self-expression. Founded in Amsterdam as what the brand calls a “design rebellion,” Bugaboo helped reshape the pram category through engineering innovation and aspirational design.

The collection promises to blend luxury fashion, conscious craftsmanship and functional innovation. It’s designed for parents who don’t want to compromise on performance, style or values.

More details on the full collection are expected closer to the launch date.
