More than 100 midwives and nurses are set to be recruited by the Women’s & Children’s Health Network to support growing demand for maternity and neonatal care in South Australia.

The Women’s & Children’s Health Network (WCHN) has launched a major recruitment campaign to hire more than 100 midwives and registered nurses as part of the continued expansion of its Women’s & Babies division.

WCHN is strengthening its clinical workforce to meet growing demand and ensure women, babies and families across South Australia continue to receive high-quality, specialist care.

The campaign highlights the opportunity for clinicians to work across diverse programs within the Network, including clinics, neonates, Women’s Assessment & Birth Suite (WABS) and specialist maternity services, while remaining within one organisation.

The recruitment initiative also reflects long-term workforce planning aligned to the future of healthcare delivery in South Australia.

WCHN says the campaign offers clinicians a number of benefits, including opportunities to work across varied and specialised service areas, access to structured professional development pathways, flexible roster options and collaborative multidisciplinary team environments.

The recruitment drive is designed to attract both local and interstate clinicians, with relocation opportunities available for experienced midwives and registered nurses considering a move to South Australia.

By investing in workforce growth now, WCHN aims to ensure strong foundations are in place for the future, supporting continuity of care and clinical excellence for years to come.

To support the recruitment drive, WCHN has partnered with local recruitment agency Harrison McMillan, with applications now open at: wabsjobs.com.au
