Experience the magical atmosphere at the 93rd edition of the Southern Hemisphere largest public parade, from 9:30am in the Adelaide CBD, marking the official start of the festive season.
Bring your biggest smiles and waves as Emma Memma will sing and sign on the colourful Christmas in ToyTown float, helping to spread joy to the thousands attending and watching from home on the Channel 9 broadcast.
As the countdown begins, be sure to take a look at the Float List so you don’t miss the new floats coming to the pageant! The pageant magic expands as the new Mini Float winning design, Sprinkle of Magic, will debut this year and add excitement of the parade.
Follow our handy tips to ensure the day is as easy as possible:
- Beat the traffic as public transport will still be operating.
- Arrive early to get first pick of the best spot along the route, some enthusiastic pageant-goers camp out all night long!
- We have some very exciting National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant merchandise that will be available to purchase along the route at National Pharmacies stalls. Pick up some new Christmas tree decorations or festive hats.
- Keep the kids busy as they wait for Father Christmas and bring some colourful chalk to decorate the roads.
- Build the pre-pageant excitement with the kids and have fun creating some magical Christmas inspired signs to bring along to the Pageant.
- Bring plenty of snacks and cool drinking water is essential for a day filled with fun!
- Safety first! Police officers along the route will have lost child/vulnerable people wristbands on them for parents/guardians/carers to write on and put on the wrist of their child/vulnerable person they are responsible for.
- Most importantly, have fun!
